Built to bring innovative products to market

Norfolk Plant Sciences:

A Source of Innovation

NPS is a spin-out from the John Innes Centre and The Sainsbury Laboratory, which together form one of the world's leading plant science research institutes.

The company was established by Profs Cathie Martin and Jonathan Jones to enable their ground-breaking plant research to make a positive impact in people’s lives.

Now, backed by an experienced group of investors and advisors, led by Stephen Thomson and Eric Ward, NPS is developing its dark purple tomato into products, which will give consumers the benefit of their increased levels of anthocyanins.
